2025 American Doubles Tournaments
The Committee have been arranging things well in advance for next season, so please put the following dates in your diaries right away for our very popular Sunday "American Doubles" events:
- Barker Cup/Early Bird - 6th April 2025 starting at 12.30pm
- Win Miles Trophy - 8th June 2025 starting at 12.30pm
- Alan White Trophy - To be confirmed, probably either 20th July, 3rd August or 24th August 2025 starting at 12.30pm
Please note the start times, aimed at accommodating the anticipated large number of players for these popular contests, which are open to all members aged 14 and above, or younger if recommended by the coaching team.
2025 Club Championships
Entries for the 2025 Club Championships are open and the draw will be done during then weekend 3rd /4th May 2025. The Finals date is 21st September.
The categories are Ladies and Mens singles, Ladies and Mens Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. The format will be the best of 3 sets. (2 full sets with a 3rd set tie break.) Semi-finals and Finals will be 3 full sets.
Due to the large number of entries for the Men's tournament we shall start this one earlier than the others. We aim to follow the schedule set out below:
1st Round to be completed by 31 May
2nd Round to be played by 30 June
Quarter Finals to be played by 31 July
Semi Finals to be played by 30 August
Finals to be played 21st September

2024 Junior Events
It is planned to run two age group related invitational tournaments this summer. The planned dates are 17th March and 21st April for the Play Your Way to Wimbledon.
2024 Adult Open
After our successful, but relatively small Mixed Doubles tournament in 2023, with players from threee surrounding clubs joining our top players we have decided to expand the event to have Men's, Ladies and Mixed Doubles competitions played across three days. Dates are 8th (evening), 9th, and 10th August, so book those holidays so that you are available for this expanded event NOW!!
