We also offer a range of tennis holiday camps during school holidays for both Members and Non Members. Our links to schools through our 'tennis taster' programme offer the Camp experience as a stepping stone to our coaching programme. Summer Tennis Camps in 2022 will likely run from 25th July - 26th August.   

Shinfield Tennis Club have been running Holiday Tennis Camps for many years and has built  an excellent reputation for safe, fun, high-energy multi-sport activities as well as learning the techniques of all major tennis strokes and Match-play (for suitable players).

The camps are led by LTA qualified and accredited tennis coaches, who are DBS checked, safeguarding trained and have first aid training, plus they all have experience of regularly working with children as young as 3 years up to 17 years as part of our club’s normal tennis coaching activities.  All holiday camp activities are run under the strict co-ordination of Tony Williams, our Head Coach. 

Children of all ages can attend and tennis players of all levels do attend our camps, from beginner to advanced.  There is something for everyone, with the emphasis on having fun.

Whilst Camp activities run all day you can book for just the morning from 9am – 1pm which can be more appropriate for younger children. You do not have to sign up to every day, just let us know the sessions you wish to attend.   We do offer an early bird drop off/late collection if required, please discuss your needs with the coaching team and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Don't forget to provide your children with appropriate snacks, lunch and drinks for the day.  Hats and sun cream will be required if it is particularly hot and sunny.    Please no fizzy drinks.

If your child has their own racket, they are welcome to bring it along, if not, we have a limited number of spare rackets that can be borrowed.
