The club runs two internal tournaments each year, and all members are encouraged to take part. They're a big part of club life and open to a wide range of abilities.

Veterans Tournament

Held in May, with finals day on the third Saturday of the month. Events include men's and ladies' singles and doubles, plus mixed doubles. Eligibility is 40+ for ladies and 45+ for men.

Main Club and Junior Tournaments

Held between August and September, with finals day on the last Saturday in September. These tournaments are open to all members, with men's, ladies' and mixed events across singles and doubles.

Finals days are social occasions at the club, with a barbecue and a chance for members, friends and family to come together and enjoy the tennis.

Tournament format and rules

• Matches are played as the best of three full sets
• A tie-break is played in all sets
• Each round has a "play by" date to keep the tournament moving

If a match has not been played by the agreed date, the tournament referee will decide how the round is resolved. Tournament referees are announced before each tournament begins.
