PAY AND PLAY – We offer Pay & Play for £8.00 per court per hour (Hardcourt only). You can book a court up to 3 days in advance. Once you book you will need to fill out some details for the first time and pay on-line. Once booked you will receive confirmation of booking and also a code to unlock the court entrance gate. We ask that you wear tennis trainers so not to mark the courts and shut the court entrance gate when leaving. Book a court HERE.

Founded in 1922, St John's Tennis Club is located in St John's Road, Tunbridge Wells, near the indoor Sports Centre. We have four floodlit all-weather courts, two new floodlit clay courts in beautiful surroundings, and a practice wall. As well as offering traditional tennis, our club now has two pickleball courts and a newly laid pétanque court, open to all members to use (bring own boules). Our spacious clubhouse boasts a bar, kitchen, and changing facilities. There is plenty of parking.
Our social mix-in tennis takes place on Tuesday evenings 5:30 to 7:00 pm, Wednesday mornings 9:30 to 11:30am, Thursday evenings 5:30 to 7:00pm, Saturdays 2 to 4pm and Sundays 2.30 to 4pm (3–5pm from 31st March).
Most of our inter-club matches are played on Sundays (Kent League) and on Monday and Wednesday evenings (Maidstone League).
We offer coaching on a one-to-one basis, and social coaching mornings for all levels. We also have a very strong Junior section. We organise a number of social events throughout the year, including barbecues, club tournaments, quiz evenings and fun tennis.
