A balloon-bedecked St John's welcomed a host of potential new members at the open day on Saturday - the first of its kind since pre-Covid.
Many adults and juniors came along to find out more about the club, and to enjoy taster coaching and cardio tennis sessions, coffee, cakes and conversation, in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
Towards the end, everyone gathered to hear Laura introduce the amazing new clay courts, which were promptly declared officially open with a speech and ribbon-cutting by Mike Martin, the new Lib Dem MP for Tunbridge Wells. There followed a speech by Keith Gill, LTA councillor from Kent Tennis, who praised our club for being so vibrant, pro-active and welcoming.
