We’re pleased to share that Emily Bristow won the ladies singles 35+ title at the Welsh National Championships. On Friday 30th August, Emily faced Tesni Metcalfe of Swansea LTC in a rematch of last year’s final, coming out on top this time with a score of 6-2, 3-6, 10-7.

Emily also competed in the mixed doubles 35+ event with her brother, Mathew Smith. The duo finished as runners-up on Sunday 25th August, after a close match against Tesni Metcalfe and David Allnatt of Swansea LTC, repeating last year’s result.

In addition to her success at the Welsh Nationals, Emily played her first county match for the South Wales 40+ team against Kent at Cardiff Met on Sunday 1st September, where South Wales emerged victorious. Well done Emily!
