The club has operated without a secretary for several years now and this is far from ideal as it puts an extra burden on others members of the Club Management Committee, particularly the Captain. 

The Secretary deals with communications to the club and passes messages on to the responsible committee member. The Secretary also deals with some administrative tasks such as minutes of committee meetings.
