BOOKING RULES
Open hours - The courts can be booked between 8am and 10pm each day.
Court hire fees - MINIMUM BOOKING PERIOD is 30 minutes
- Members - There are no court hire fees for members, this includes free use of the floodlights.
- Non members - There is a charge of £10 per hour per court, £13 per hour if you need floodlights. Payable at the time of booking.
Members bringing guests - should you wish to bring a guest (non-member) please refer to our guest policy below.
Court booking rules
Players using the court booking system must adhere to the following court booking rules (the system will be monitored and the rules may be amended as necessary to suit demand):
- You should enter the names of participants playing.
- Members can book a court free of charge to play with other club members.
- Minimum age for bookings is 12yrs or School Year 7
- Courts may be booked up to a maximum of 14 days in advance for members and 7 days for non members (adults only).
- Members and non-members may only book one court on any specific date.
- Courts may be booked for up to two consecutive 60 minute timeslots for a maximum total of 2 hours per booking.
- The minimum booking period is 30 minutes.
- If you know in advance that you will no longer require your booking please cancel it ASAP so that the court is available for other players. This also applies if you are rained off in an evening particularly, so that the lights are turned off asap.
- If other players are using the court at your booked time (provided you have arrived within 15 minutes of the start of your booking - see rule below) you should politely ask them to vacate the court, and show them a copy of your booking confirmation (either on your mobile phone or a printed copy).
- If a member has booked a court and does not turn up within 15 minutes of the booked timeslot, the booking is deemed void and the court may be taken by other members.
- Any booking may be cancelled by the Club at any time if the court is needed. Players will be advised if this is the case.
- Any members who regularly reserve courts but do not turn up will be reported to the committee and sanctions may be applied.
Member guest policy
- All playing guests must be accompanied by a playing member.
- Any members introducing a guest shall be responsible for ensuring that their guest observes the Club Rules
- As a concession to Members, you may invite a guest (non member) to play with you on 3 occasions per year without charge, after that charges apply.
- Guest fees are £5 per court when you have a guest or guests (£3 for juniors).
- The introducing member is responsible for making sure the guest fee is paid before playing, adding the guest's name as a participant, when making your booking.
- Non members have no access to the Clubhouse. Toilets are therefore unavailable.
Cancellation policy - Receive a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hrs before the start of your booking.
If you know in advance that you will no longer require your booking please cancel it ASAP so that the court is available for other players. This also applies if you are rained off in an evening, cancelling your booking will ensure that the floodlights are turned off.
