Everyone can start competing no matter your age or ability.  

Competition is at the heart of our sport. 

We think competing against players of a similar level is one of the best ways to enjoy the game, while also improving your skills and making new friends along the way.  

So, you’re playing tennis and want to start competing? There are several opportunities as part of Tennis for Free Bromley to get involved.

Juniors

We run match plays and tournaments at Croydon Road Rec and Willett Rec. These are mainly match plays which are a perfect first individual competition, or great for getting in some extra practice. For further details, of various events, please click here to access the LTA competition search.

Adults

Local Tennis Leagues are friendly, competitive singles and doubles leagues for adults, played nationwide on thousands of park and public courts. Click here for further information

The Tennis for Free Championships run every summer and gives members the chance to compete in knock out draws to find our champions! We have 7 categories:

Mens Singles, Womens Singles, Mens O45s Singles, Womens O40s Singles, Mens Doubles, Womens Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

The finals are held at Croydon Road Recreation Ground.
