Last Wednesday we took some of our junior players and parents to Wimbledon in the hopes to watch some tennis. Unfortunately, the que was over 3 hours long and had no luck. We ended up watching the tennis on the screens in Putney.

However, we were not disheartened and were determined to catch some tennis on the famous green grass as we try to go every year with our players. We manged to catch the quarter finals yesterday and saw some great tennis! Coach Yoli was very lucky and got onto Centre Court and saw the world number one, Carlos Alcaraz defeat Matteo Berrettini in a thrilling match.

Our experience trying to get to Wimbledon this year was a lot like a tennis match itself, by not seeing any tennis in the first week didn’t stop us trying again!
