Here to help with COVID-19

T2O Tennis is on the case! The Coronavirus, COVID-19, is a concern for us. We want to make sure everyone stays healthy and we do our bit to help reduce the risk of any infections.

The Lawn Tennis Association has said that is the decision of each club to choose whether they stay open or not. We are remaining open for now but will follow guidance from the respective bodies.

We’re taking the extra precaution every week at our Tots Tennis nursery lessons to wipe down our tennis racquets with special wipes before and after every lesson in our effort to reduce any risk of harbouring any infection. We have special tubes of wipes in our kit bags for use after every lesson.

We continue to ask that the children wash their hands thoroughly before and after every lesson.

For our lessons at our tennis clubs, we will have a table by the entrance with a bottle of approved hand sanitiser and we'd like everyone coming into the club to use it on their way in and on their way out.

We don’t anticipate service to stop as long as we’re all following the NHS advice.

Remember Tennis is a non-contact sport, played outside, and often with lots of space between players. We're going to demonstrate good practice with social distancing. We're also stopping high-fives for now, and are elbow-bumping instead.

Stay calm, stay positive, and keep playing Tennis!
