Well done to all our players on Saturday, it was a great session from everyone!

Today we worked on moving forward whilst hitting forehands and backhands. We then progressed this into rallying for all our groups.

A special mention to Emily Gough from our red ballers who achieved a 20-shot rally with Coach Jack! Keep up the good work Emily and to all our red ballers! It was also the weekend of the first Grand Slam final of the year in Australia. In the women’s final competing was Elena Rybakina (world 22) vs Aryna Sabalenka (World 5).   

 Sabalenka won the match 4 – 6, 6-3, 6-4!

In the men’s final competing was Stefanos Tsitsipas (Wolrd 3) vs Novak Djokovic (Wolrd 4). Surpise surprise Djokovic won in straight sets 6 – 3, 7 – 6, 7-6! Djokovic goes level with Rafa Nadal on 22 Grand Salm titles and he takes back the world number 1 spot.
