On Sunday, November 17th, 2019, a group of 24 club members laid down their racquets slightly early after club social to be treated to a beautifully prepared and presented Sunday lunch of roast lamb with a full compliment of vegetables, sauces and accompaniaments. The get together which took place in the delightful WI hall, was proposed and presented by our fabulous social secretary, Suzanne Stratton ably assisted by her friend Linda so huge thanks to them for all the hard work and effort to make such a wonderful treat.

As if the roast meal was not enough, Suzanne also laid on a superb steamed treacle pudding with custard and for those not intending to play on Wednesday, a further selection of 4 cheeses before finishing with a well needed coffee.

The event proved to be a wonderful opportunity for members to enjoy each other's company for an hour or so off the courts while demolishing the fruits of Suzanne's labours with a glass or two or their chosen tipples.
