The Mary Bircham closed doubles tournament took place on Sunday, 11th August, 2019.

16 competitors battled it out from 10am in the morning until approximately 3pm with a delightful barbeque in the break for lunch. Despite some strong winds and a minor rain interruption during the final, some excellent tennis was played by all.

There had to be a winner and this year the title was taken by Messrs Phil Glanfield and John O'Malley who narrowly beat Mrs Lynn Pigney and Mr Cameron Raven in the final on a tie-break
