Now that the tennis club has had the grand courts reopening, our thoughts turn to the next important event on our horizon, and that is an EGM to discuss and vote on the proposed merger of the Tennis Club with the Bowling club to form the West Linton Community Sports Club. 

In the attached link, Summary Of Proposed Merger, is a document that summarises the proposals.  Please DO read it to understand the ideas behind the merger and the proposed benefits.

For the keener ones amongst you, this link to the Proposed Constitution takes you to a document describing the constitution of the new club.

We would like to encourage as many members as possible to atend this important meeting.  It will be held in the Golf Club on 19th May 2026 from 7-9pm.  Tea and Coffee will be served.

If you cannot attend then please email with any questions and/or your decision whether you would like to:

• Vote for the merger
• Vote against the merger
• Abstain
• Allow the committee to vote on your behalf

For your information, the committee recommend a 'Yes' vote.
