Wetherby Padel Club organises lots of different types of competitons for its members with a friendly competitive atmosphere being the essence of the club.
To enter any you just need to be a member and then let info@wetherbypadelclub.co.uk know. All information should be available from this page but feel free to email any queries.
- Box Leagues. Members enter these individually and get placed into a box with 3 other players. Over the course of a month, and organised between the 4 individuals, 3 matches will be played with every player partnering one another. The player who does the best individually wins promotion to the box above. Full details here.
- Pairs Mini-Leagues. Members enter these with their preferred partner which can be either same-sex or mixed. Each pair will be placed into a mini-league with 2 or 3 other pairs. Over the course of 6 weeks, and organised between the 2 pairs, each pair will play a match against one another. The pair that does the best wins promotion to the mini-league above. Full details here.
- Pairs Ladder. Members enter the ladder as a pair which can be either same-sex or mixed. Every pair starts at the bottom of the ladder and with no time pressure, can challenge other pairs to a match. If they win the match, they'll take the spot of that pair in the ladder. This is a good way to find new pairs to play and have competitive matches. Full details here.
- Teams. Members can represent Wetherby Padel Club in matches against other teams either friendly or competitive. We have participated in different organised leagues/competitions but a single organiser has yet to become established with wide participation from local clubs. Friendlies are also organised on an ad-hoc basis through our links with other local clubs.
