The 2018 Dick Francis Little & Large Tournament

To be held on Sunday 21st October 2018 at WLTC
Players to arrive by 1pm

Format

A fun and friendly afternoon of competitive doubles play in which juniors will be paired with adults to compete for the Dick Francis Little & Large trophies.

There will be two age categories for the juniors: 10 and under and 16 and under.

• For the 10 and unders, each match will comprise one short set (the first to 4 games, with a tiebreak at 4 all);
• For the 16 and unders, each match will be the best of 2 short sets and then a match tiebreak if required.

 A consolation competition will be running alongside the main draw, so everybody who enters will be guaranteed to play at least two matches.

The pairings and draw will be determined ‘randomly’ by the organisers.

Numbers will be limited, so please sign up as soon as possible in the appropriate category to confirm your place. Sign-up sheets can be found in the club house.

Food contribution for the event

There is no entry fee for the tournament.

Everybody who is playing is asked to bring either a sweet or savoury food contribution for the afternoon tea. There is a sign up sheet for food next to the competition sign up.
