The schedule below provides information on the organised sessions that are held at the club on a typical week. There are some variations on Public Holidays.
Courts are usually booked for such sessions. No need to book to attend any of these sessions, just turn up.
Members are welcomed to book courts anytime outside of these sessions.
Monday Evening (6pm onwards) Ladies Team Night - Ladies only tennis evening to play (doubles) tennis. Aimed at those playing team tennis or those aspiring to this standard. Don't be put off turn up and give it a try. On Clay & Artificial Grass courts *There is a contribution for Lights and Balls.
Monday Evening (6.30pm onwards) Rusty Rackets - For anyone who has just started playing tennis and is looking for a game with players of a similar standard and some handy pointers along the way. Some basic instruction given. On Clay & Artificial Grass courts. £5 for non-members (Members Free)
Tuesday Morning (8am -12pm) Social - Mixed tennis session for everyone to attend. 4 games played at one end, change for another 4 and then a general mix around. All standards catered for. On Clay & Artificial Grass courts.
Tuesday Evening (5.00pm onwards) Men's Night - All male members are invited to join in on a Tuesday night. Aimed at those playing team tennis or those aspiring to this standard. Don't be put off turn up and give it a try. From 5.00pm to 7pm there is a general mix in. At 7pm pairs are arranged to promote better match practice. After a set or 2, pairs can play a different pair. From 6pm all courts are allocated for men's night. There is a contribution of £1 or £2 for balls/floodlights.
Wednesday Afternoon (2.30pm-4pm) Walking Tennis - In conjunction with Worcester University. Hard court is booked. £5 for non-members (Members Free)
Friday Morning (8am-12pm) Social - Same setup as Tuesday morning social. On Clay & Artificial Grass courts
Friday Evening (6pm-8pm) Social - A social tennis session for anyone of any standard to attend. On Clay & Artificial Grass courts
NEW - Friday Evening (6pm-7.30pm) Junior Social - A social tennis session for Juniors who have reached proficient full court doubles play. Individuals will be directed by the coaching team if they are suitable. On Clay & Artificial Grass courts. On usually only during school term times.
Saturday Afternoon (1.30pm-4.30pm) Social - Same setup as Tuesday morning social. On Clay & Artificial Grass courts
Sunday Morning (9am-12pm) Mixed Team Practise - Mixed session for match practice. 1 set played and then all players swap around, or if practicing in match pairs, play a different pair. Matches could be scheduled for a Sunday morning, however there will be at least 1-3 courts booked for practice (unless there are two matches taking place).
