ATC Tournament 2025 – Guidance
The finals will be held on Saturday 20th September 2025.
All matches must be completed by 13th September.
The format for all matches will be two regular sets with a tie-break at six all. If one-set all a 10 point tie-break should be played to decide the winner.
Men’s Open Singles and Men’s Doubles will be played as knockout in first round followed by round robin matches. This format is being tried following feedback last year of there being too many matches to play in these events. The knockout stage must be completed by 20th July. The winner and player(s) progressing to the knockout stage for any matches not completed by this date will be drawn at random.
The finals for all events will be between the two players/pairs at the top of the table. If either of the top two players/pairs are unable to play the final then the next player/pair on the table (i.e. third place player(s)) will compete in the final.
THERE WILL NOT BE A SEMI-FINAL ROUND.
If an agreed match is cancelled twice by the same player(s) the match will be given to the player(s) who have not cancelled
If injury, sickness or personal reasons mean a player(s) have to withdraw all previous results involving that player/pair will be scrapped.
Any disputes will be settled by the tournament committee.
