Abergavenny Tennis Club is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk who engage in all tennis activities.

Whether you or your child are engaging in coaching, matches or other organised events, we will strive to keep children, young people and adults at risk safe and free from harm.

A message from Ali:

Myself and my family are avid tennis players and I can often be found on or around the courts, enjoying social tennis, and supporting teams during the summer and winter leagues. I was a school governor in Llanfoist for 10 years, therefore understand the importance of safeguarding and young people. I have gained the Lawn Tennis Association Safeguarding qualification, with a view to safeguard and protect any members who may need support. Members who wish to raise a matter of concern may do so knowing that I shall deal with it sensitively, confidentially, and discretely at all times.
