Coaching at Abingdon Lawn Tennis Club
We are proud to offer a comprehensive coaching programme for all ages and abilities, delivered by our dedicated club coaches: Ewan Townsend, Bart Wisniewski, Craig Amison-Smith, and Bev Woodcock.
Individual Coaching
If you are looking for one-on-one instruction to focus on specific areas of your game, Ewan, Craig, Bart, and Bev are all available for individual coaching. Please contact your preferred coach directly to arrange a private session.
The Termly Coaching Programme
The main club coaching programme for both adults and juniors is run through Baseline Academy, led by Ewan, Craig, and Bart. (Please note that this operates separately from Bev Woodcock's courses). It runs during the published Oxfordshire school term dates.

Junior Coaching (Ages 5 to 18) Junior group coaching runs on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons during published Oxfordshire school term dates.

Supervised Saturday Morning Junior Social and Match Practice In addition to the weekday programme, Ewan runs supervised junior tennis sessions every Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. These sessions are free to members, while non-members pay the standard £1 visitor fee.
Adult Group Coaching As part of the Baseline Academy programme, Ewan, Craig, and Bart run group coaching sessions tailored for adult improvers and advanced players.

Adult Beginners & Improvers Courses
Bev runs his ever popular beginners and improvers Friday evening classes starting April/May time. These classes are a structured 8 week course, to teach adults all the basic fundamental skills of tennis, while having a lot of fun and meeting new paople to play with.
