The President’s Trophy Competition took place on the morning of Sunday 3rd October. Play was of a good standard and matches were hard fought. The lead changed hands several times. With only 15 minutes remaining, the joint leading ladies were Lucy Krepa and Luisa Marshall, but they were pipped at the post by strong final rounds by the eventual winners and runners-up. The early leaders in the men’s were Ewan Townsend and Matt Adams. Ranjan Ramasamy and David Weaver started poorly, but surged to third and second place, respectively, at the end. However, Matt remained consistent throughout and emerged the eventual winner. The winners were Matt Adams and Caroline Townsend, and the runners-up were Cheryl Dunn and David Weaver.
