The £170,00 project in full swing, laying new courts in porous tar-macadam over a base of the pulverised remains of the firmer concrete courts which had lasted just over 30 years. The project including new high quality, low energy LED floodlighting, visible in the background, forall four courts, replacing obsolete floodlights on two courts. Completed in record time (just two years from idea to the first game on the new courts) and accompanied by strong growth in membership, the club was recognised for its role in developing and growing tennis in Aberdeenshire by becoming Tennis Scotland's Club of the Year in 2018..
