Free Junior Coaching Programme

Please book your session in advance if you would like your child to attend. FREE for all children. All classes accommodate beginners.

PLEASE READ ALL INFO BELOW CAREFULLY

Achieve More Scotland are working in conjunction with Active Schools to deliver free tennis to kids that need it most. We currently run after-school sessions in East Kilbride and Maryhill. Here is all the information you'll need if you want to sign your kid up for any of the sessions.

1. Tennis sessions are open to P3-P7s. It doesn't matter how much your child has played, our experienced coaching team will be able to integrate them into their session. 

2. All equipment will be provided for children to use at the sessions.

3.  It is very important that you sign your child up via ClubSpark before attending the session. We need emergency contact details plus it will also allow us to cancel sessions in the event of inclement weather. Users will need to create an LTA account (also for free) before they can book in.

4.  Everything is completely free of charge to allow children who wouldn't otherwise get the opportunity to play tennis for free. If your child can no longer make the session, please remember to cancel their spot as there may be a child that misses out on the opportunity as a result.

5. Please see below to book your child into the session relevant to their age at one of our three venues (Whitemoss Tennis Courts, East Kilbride Village Centre and Wishaw Sports Centre). Our guide: red ball (6-8 yrs), orange ball (9-10 yrs), green ball (10-11yrs) and yellow ball (11+).

Village Centre in East Kilbride

Our Village Centre sessions take place indoors with our Level 3 qualified coach Luke Quigley. They take place at the Village Centre in East Kilbride (12 Maxwell Dr, East Kilbride, Glasgow, G74 4HG). There are two classes every Wednesday up until 26th March:

  • Red ball (P3-P5), 4pm-5pm, beginners and improvers
  • Orange/Green ball (P5+), 5pm-6pm, beginners and improvers

Every session is completely free of charge.

Whitemoss Tennis Courts in East Kilbride

Our Whitemoss sessions will return in April 2025.

Wishaw Sports Centre in Wishaw

Our Wishaw Sports Centre sessions will return in February 2025.
