Level 4 Perfomance Coach

Warren started playing tennis at the age of 7 at Gorleston Tennis Club. He played at national and international level as a junior before going into full-time tennis at 16 years old, when he was based at London's Queens Club with the LTA under the supervisions of former professional, Nick Brown.

Unfortunately a serious wrist injury at 17 ended his hopes of a professional career and he went into coaching at the age of 19, initially based at the Norwich Sports Village. He spent 5 years there before moving to Bannatynes Health Club where he built the club's programme into achieving LTA Performance club status.

He then went on to work for LTA for 3 years as Tennis East's Talent and Performance Coordinator, working with the leading club, coaches and players in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge. Since then he has spent 6 years working at Easton College and a year at Virgin Active Norfolk.

Warren has been Coaching at Acle Tennis Club for 6 years and is now taking over from Ann Nicholls as Head Coach.

Warren has been  the coach to many national and international players including Olivia Nicholls, Will Davie, Amy Patridge, Katherine Barnes and Monica Raviraj.

Ann Nicholls

Level 3 LTA Registered Club Coach.

Ann was introduced to tennis at the age of 11 through a six week starter course at Taverham Tennis Club. From the age of 14 she began to represent Norfolk and have continued to do so, most recently playing in 40's and over events. She passed her Level 3 Coaching Award at Southend in 2006.

Ann has coached at Acle Tennis Club for more than 10 years previously, working with a wide range of players and abilities from mini tennis to Norfolk County standard. Whilst at the Acle Club she has also gained a lot of experience in delivering tennis in the local primary schools.

She has been involved with assisting and captaining the under 10 and 12 yr old Norfolk Girls teams, taking their coaching sessions and travelling with them to various tournaments.

During her time at Acle she has had a great deal of success and lots of fun with all those she has coached and supported.

Liz Lake

Level 2 Coach.

Liz has been coaching for 10 years and really enjoys assisting  Warren and Ann while coaching the younger players.
