A fantastic day as always at this year’s Shirley Buckley trophy! The glorious weather even showed up in Albrighton to make it a wonderful day of tennis. The trophy is held annually in memory of Shirley Buckley who was a valued member and committee member, and we honour her memory with this competition.

A great day of fun had by all, with the usual competitive spirit creeping in as the results got tighter and tighter! The final results were pulled together and the winners for this year were crowned – congratulations to Simon Jenkins and Nicki Longden on their win. A big thank you to the organisers and to all who supported this event. Roll on the 2025 edition!
