At Allt-Yr-Yn tennis club we want everyone to feel safe, welcome and comfortable while enjoying the sport they love. We're all part of creating a positive environment for everyone on and off the court.
Your safety matters
We understand that sometimes things happen, and it's important to know who to turn to. That's why we have our dedicated Welfare & Safeguarding Officer, Cheryl!
Cheryl, has completed her Level 1 Safeguarding course and has lots of experience working with kids of all ages. She's also a great tennis player, so you might even see her out on the court!
Want to chat with Cheryl?
You can reach her by email or phone, or catch her at the club on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Let's talk!
If you have any concerns about your child's/or a member's safety or well-being, please don't hesitate to chat with Cheryl. She's here to listen and offer support.
Here are some examples of things you can talk to her about:
- Inappropriate behaviour from a coach or another adult.
- My child seems unhappy at tennis.
- Worries about bullying or someone being singled out
Rest assured
We take all concerns seriously. If you need to make a complaint about anybody or anything at the club, please follow our complaints procedure.
You can also be reassured that all our lead coaches have up-to-date DBS checks and safeguarding training.
