This week, our usual Tuesday social tennis session was turned into a fun Christmas doubles tournament, with 11 players turning out and competing for the coveted Terry's Chocolate Oranges. 

Players were paired with a partner, with each set seeing them playing 3 games with that partner, and then swapping partners with their opponents and playing 3 more games in their new pairings. This continued for 3 rounds each, with each player keeping track of the number of games they had individually won.

This eventually found our best male and female players. Winning with 12 games apiece, drum roll please..... it was Jan and Brian! So well done to them. A seperate award must also go to Sue for being the best-dressed player in her Mrs Claus outfit. 

And if you haven't yet had your fill of Christmas tennis, Thursday night will see Abi's Christmas jumper fun night, and tennis will continue on Tuesday afternoons throughout the Christmas period.
