Social Tennis
We run several ‘mix-in’ sessions thoughout the week that are popular with members. These sessions also give new members a chance to meet and play some great tennis with existing members.
It doesn’t matter what standard you are, as long as you can hit a ball and hold a racket you’re good to go.
Simply come down to a session and say hello! Here is a list of our social mix ins at the club.
SATURDAY MORNING MIX IN - All adults welcome to turn up and play from 10.00 to around 11.30/12.00
RUSTY RACKETS - perfect for people who are new to tennis or who are not too competitive. Tuesday mornings 10.00 to 11.00. Contact Jean Jones 07365 520392
MONDAY MEN'S EVENING - Men come together on a Monday evenings from 7.00pm to around 8.30/9.00pm usually followed by going to the pub. Contact: Roger Whitworth 07946 094488
TUESDAY MIX IN - All adults welcome for a doubles session organised by Contact Ben Spicer 07443 578810 as he tries to organise even numbers
THURSDAY CLUB MIX IN - From Thursday 31st October 2024 this session will now be from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. These sessions are open to all senior members and all abilities are welcome. Non-members can also come down at a cost of £5 per session. Contact Brian Davies via email: Batten123@icloud.com
BRING A FRIEND - members can bring a friend for a visitor's fee of £5 payable either to Roger Whitworth (Treasurer) or BACS payment to Lloyds Bank Sort Code 30 91 19 Account No 00085723. Feel free to use any of the many adult and junior rackets available in the clubhouse.
