Alveley Tennis Club held a fun tournament open to all members this Easter weekend. Glorious weather saw a decent turnout and attendees played a round robin of mixed doubles matches. Roger Whitworth and Ben Spicer emerged as the top male players, and Mary Spicer and Sue Batten as the top females, so these four paired up to play a grand final, with Ben and Mary Spicer taking a 10-7 victory on a Championship tie break.

We hope to run more of these fun tournaments in the future, and it's always good to see new faces at these events!
