Restringing and extra's costs
Full restring charges as follows:
Restringing fees start from £20 (all full restrings include a free overgrip and all racquets are stencilled and cleaned)
Synthetic Gut - The ideal choice for club players who don't break strings quickly and are looking for a good all round string. The cost ranges from £20 up to £24 max. I have a wide selection of Synthetic Gut strings, from Prince Duraflex to Head, Babolat, Mantis and much more! I even have some Prince Rainbow strings which look fabulous!
Full Poly string (for frequent racquet breakers or those looking for a string that moves less and provides more spin and power then a traditional Synthetic Gut) - Lots of great strings at £20 + some of the best and most popular strings (as played with by top pro's). Selection of strings below (Which i always have a stock of.... but i have much more as well!)
Babolat RPM Blast (used by Nadal) - £24
Luxilon Big Banger - £26
Tecnifibre Black Code - £26
Solico Tour bite + Hyper G, Hyper G soft + Confidential - £24
Head Sonic Pro - £23
Blend (Mains Poly / crosses Synthetic gut) - from £22 up to £28 (depending on the type of strings you want)
Multifilament String (as close as you can get to Natural Gut) - The best string for those with Tennis Elbow of Shoulder / Arm pain. This string absorbs shock and whilst it will break more frequently, it saves you from pain and keeps you on court!)
Costs range from £24 up to £28. With Natural Gut costing up to £50 (without stringing costs) these are fantastic value and provide comfort and great playability. I have Wilson Sensation, Tecnifibre Biphase, Babolat Addixion + more.
Hybrid stringing - I am also happy to provide a hybrid stringing service. Choose your Main string (up and down) and then your choice of crosses and i will string it for you. Lots of top pro's now use a blend of Poly (for Mains) with a synthetic or Multi string (for comfort and touch / feel). Simply half the cost for each string for your total cost, so Luxilon BIg Banger with a Synthetic would cost £23.
If you provide your own string - £16
What do i use? - A blend of Soft Poly in the mains with a multifiliment string in the crosses.
Why? - To ease any issues with my arm (as a coach i hit a lot of balls) especially over the winter when hitting wet, heavy tennis balls all day long!
With over 40 years stringing experience, if you need any advise, please speak to me first.
