03/08/25 News Update - Survey
The EGM slides are already with you (previous news article), so now comes the most important part - we need to hear from you.
Do you want:
• Better facilities?
• All-year access?
• More coaching?
• A proper clubhouse?
• A place for the wider community to gather?
We're at a turning point, and this is your chance to help shape the future. The short 7-10(ish)* minute survey asks for your input on everything from courts and coaching to fundraising and relocation. It's designed to give us a real read on what the membership actually wants.
The more responses we get, the more confident we can be in the direction we take. If we only hear from a few voices, we'll have to assume the rest are happy for things to stay as they are.
Let's hope that's not the case. If you care about tennis and want a club that's built to thrive, not just survive, now's the time to help shape it.
Thanks in advance,
Got few minutes* ? Help shape the future of our club:

24/07/25 News Update - EGM
Thanks to those that joined the EGM last night. Attached is the slide deck for those that couldn't make it.
The slides summarise:
- the drivers for timing of key decisions that need to be made
- options around upgrading facilities at High Road or Bradstone
- the club's financial situation
- cost estimates for refurbishment works and upgrades
- options for plugging the financial gap if the club decides to upgrade facilities
- introduction of a membership survey
The survey will be shared in a seperate e-mail, the social tennis What's App group and our website. Plus any other way we can distribute it over the summer :-)
We would really appreciate members finding 10-15 mins to read the slides and respond to the survey. The more responses we get - the easier it will be to move forward in the right direction. So please share these slides and the survey with others who want to have a say on the future of tennis in the village.
