Rules for Booking Courts and Membership

A £3 guest of a member payment has been introduced on the website system. At the time of booking a court, a member must add any guests to the participants section and pay £3 per guest, per hour. The member, being the person who can book a court for free, will need to pay the £3 at the point of booking and reclaim the money from their guest (should they wish to do so).

Guest payment is for visitors and those who wish to give tennis a go before deciding if they want to play tennis more often and so join the club or not play so often and use the non member booking system of Pay and Play.

A guest is permitted to take advantage of the £3 per hour guest payment THREE times only. After this time they will be asked to join the club and pay membership fees. Should they not wish to join the club, they may of course continue to play tennis in AK but must use the Pay and Play option for non members. This is regardless of whether they are playing with members or not.

This is a members club and regardless of how many times you anticipate playing during the season, if you plan to play regularly, the club requires you to be a member.

The Pay and Play option has been increased to £10 per hour and is for non members to be able to book a court and play without joining the club.
