Bampton Tennis Club

Bampton Tennis Club is a thriving, friendly club in the picturesque village of Bampton, West Oxfordshire.   We have two well maintained hardcourts and around 200 members, including a very active junior section.

Being located on Bampton Recreation Ground, we also make use of the floodlit multisport court and pavilion when necessary.

Club nights, where any member can turn up knowing that other members will be present, are held from April - September, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.00pm onwards.   All standards are welcome.

Members can book courts online throughout the year and coaching is available for both juniors and adults.   Junior coaching camps are also held during school holidays.

Friendly matches are arranged throughout the season against other local tennis clubs. The club also participates in competitive local leagues.

Social events are held through the summer, including a 'roaming tournament' played on private courts around Bampton.

*** UPDATE: 9th Feb 2026 *** 

The courts are currently closed whilst they are being upgraded. They are due to open again at the end of March 2026 when we will also have floodlights in place.

New membership packages will be set up when the courts reopen for the season commencing 1 April 2026 to 31st March 2027.
