The 2026 Competition season got off to a great start with Sunday's Play Your Way To Wimbledon Adult Doubles events. Winners this year were Jonathan Kirk and Stephen Hughes in the mens event with Fleur Sanderson and Lucy Brenkley taking top honours in the ladies event. Both pairs will be invited to the area finals that take place at The Northumberland Club in June. The results of the events can be viewed from here.

The Cleveland League season starts this week and the matches come thick and fast. On Monday, the men start with a league match at home to Tennis World C. With little time to recover the men travel to Greenfield for a first round cup match on Tuesday. On Thursday the ladies travel to Saltburn. The mixed team get their season under way next Sunday with a home match against Eldon Grove. A list of all fixtures for the season, in both the Cleveland and Darlington leagues, can be found here.

Doubles and Singles Box Leagues have now been set up and all those taking part should have been notified.
