Safeguarding
At Bearsden Lawn Tennis Club, we aim to provide a safe and inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy playing tennis. We acknowledge our duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and adults at risk and are committed to ensuring safeguarding practice reflects statutory responsibilities, government guidance, and complies with best practice and LTA requirements. We have a Welfare Officer, Pauline Hughes - contact email welfare@bearsdenltc.org.uk, who is the first point of contact if there are any concerns. We would like to assure all members (or other persons using or attending the Club for any reason) that if they raise a concern, neither they nor their membership will be at any detriment, and the concern will be treated confidentially and in line with relevant LTA guidance.
LTA Register a Concern
You can report a safeguarding concern to the LTA using the form accessed through the below link. A safeguarding concern could involve an allegation of abuse or being worried that a child or adult at risk (as defined by the Care Act 2014) may be at risk of harm, or may have been harmed. Report a Safeguarding Concern (LTA)
