Thank you to all of those that attended the Christmas Party on Sunday.  Despite the challenging times we are in at the moment, and asking attendees to take a lateral flow test before the event, It was very well attended.  From all the feedback heard, it was a fantastic event with great music, from both Judders and the choir, as well as plenty of alcohol consumed.  Every effort was made to ensure that there was sufficient space and ventilation to keep all attendees safe during the party, which we know everybody appreciated.

A huge thank you to Elizabeth Laurent and the social committee, as well as Mandy Miles, Cathy Mills, Aine Roche, Viv Pearson, Helena Goodwin, Keith and Jo Mullner for all their help in arranging the event, and on the day.  Thanks also need to go to Judders for the fantastic music as well as Dave for his message delivered to all in attendance.

The bar has definitely been set high for next years party that’s for sure.

An additional special mention needs to go out to say a big thank you to Kim Martin, Dave Paine, Neil Buscombe, Geoff Bennett, Richard Ashness, Pete Goodwin and John Madigan who under Di Martin’s guidance planted a large volume of plants in the flower beds against the back fence behind the clubhouse.  Kim has done the same in the ditch next to courts 3 too.  Thank you all for giving up your time to do this.  It looks fantastic and is hugely appreciated by all.

We look forward to seeing many members playing tennis over the Christmas period.  Please stay safe and have a fantastic Christmas break.
