We have a thriving tennis scene at the club, for all levels of players wishing to enjoy tennis in a both a social and competitive environment:

Match Practice & League Matches

Throughout the early summer season (April to July) match practice takes place as follows:

• Ladies Practice: Mondays 6pm onwards
• Mens Practice: Tuesday 6pm onwards

From the mixed season (July to September) match practice takes place as follows:

• Mixed practice: Tuesday 6pm onwards

During the winter months we usually run various rota sessions under floodlight. Please contact the club for more information

If you would like to get involved with competitive matches please contact our team captains through via email. At Beauchief Tennis Club we enter ladies, mens and mixed teams in the summer and winter Sheffield & District Leagues and cater for all playing abilities. In addition we also play in the Chesterfield and District and Grove Floolit Leagues.

Sunday Social Match Play

The Sunday Social matchplay takes place every 4-6 weeks and is aimed at those players who are new or returning to competitive tennis and would like to experience matchplay outside of the traditional match practice sessions in a fun and friendly environment.  Please contact the club for more information.

Club Tournament

We host an annual closed club tournament open to all our members and includes handicap and open singles and doubles competitions. Click here for more information. 

Adult Bash

We also run fun American style handicap tournaments throughout the year which is open to all our playing members.
