This course is at Beechgrove Tennis Club. Orange/Green tennis is for children turning 9 and 10 during the course of the year. Players use smaller rackets and on a smaller court for Orange players (aged 9) and on a full sized court (aged 10) with different grades of decompressioned tennis balls. Children showing a good aptitude for the game may join the Orange class from age 7 and those needing more time on decompressioned balls may stay in Green tennis through to age 11.  Children will work on their A, B, C's (agility, balance and co-ordination) and work on varying racket skills to execute serves, return of serves, forehands, backhands, volleys, smashes, lobs and drop shots. Basic tactics are learned plus the rules of the game and how to score.
