Team challenge school's festival great success

16 Children from Rowan and Mossbrook school's enjoyed a morning of fun, team, skills and games.

Ben Howarth  spent 4 hours in each school running tennis sessions to 36 children. This work was funded by Yorkshire Tennis.

The end of programme finished with some of the children taking part in the team challenge school's festival where they got to practice the skills they had learned, meet new children and play as part of a team.

At the end of the activities all the children recived a certificate and medal each.

The team challenge school's festival was part of Brentwood tennis club's outreach programme.

The outreach programme  has been set up to

  • make people with learning and physical disabilities feel welcome and included at the club
  • break down barriers to allow people to participate in tennis at Brentwood tennis club
  • get  fit, active and engaging socially
  • building confidence through sport
  • helping to improve mental health and wellbeing

We are happy to work with local community groups and school's to deliver tailored made sessions that suit your requirements.

Ben is happy to chat about this and also deliver a  taster session where he can visit you.
