It is with great sadness that I write to inform you of the death of Denise Walker, our Berkshire LTA Hon. Secretary and the LTA Councillor. 

Denise was the Chair and leading light of Latika Junior Tennis Club in Bracknell, from 1997 to 2022 and as a result was awarded County Volunteer of the Year in 2010. She joined Berkshire LTA Management Committee as a club representative in 2012 and became the Berkshire LTA Honorary Secretary in 2015 .   She has worked tirelessly  on behalf of the county and been an invaluable volunteer throughout that time.

In January 2023 Denise joined the LTA Council as the Councillor for Berkshire and was also on the Development Tennis Advisory Group with the Volunteer Engagement and Support workstream; reviewing the LTA Awards.

Denise has been a huge asset to Berkshire working for over 20 years and will be hugely missed.
