On Sunday 18th June in the glorious summer sunshine Biddenden Tennis Club opened its gates for its first annual open day as part of the LTA Great British Tennis Weekend event. A warm welcome was extended to anyone wishing to try their hand at the game and our coaches Toby Sainter and Dan Shearing were on hand to offer advice and encouragement for players of all ages and abilities. Mini tennis, beat the coach and a junior tournament which saw the talented Bethersden juniors beat Biddenden 10 games to 4 were just some of the fun activities scheduled throughout the day. The day was a great success and the clubs excellent facilities were teeming with energy and enthusiasm from adults and juniors alike.
