You can sign up for free LTA Membership as follows:

Go to https://www.lta.org.uk/ and click Join Us

NB. This is free if you choose eg. the "Advantage Play +" option.
This will be the usual option for most members, as Bidford Tennis Club is an LTA-registered venue.

Wimbledon tickets draw

Benefits of LTA membership include the chance to be included in the draw(s) for Wimbledon tickets:

LTA Advantage Members Ballot

All Club Members should be eligible and able to enter the LTA Advantage Members Ballot.

Make sure you:

• Set your venue to Bidford-on-Avon: on your LTA profile, click View Account -> Account Details -> Venues.
• Opt to receive LTA communications: on your LTA profile, click View Account -> Preferences and interests.
• Opt into the draw(s) during the opt-in window*: Opt-in via the My Benefits area - but note the following:

Unable to opt in to the LTA Advantage Members Ballot? (Added August 2025)

If you have previously set your venue as above, but are unable to opt in (because the relevant button is not visible in the Benefits area), this may be because your LTA Membership has been downgraded at some point (cause unknown at this time). 

The workaround is as follows:

• Check your Membership level: on your LTA profile, click View Account -> Membership & roles

If your Membership is shown as eg. [ADVANTAGE] PLAY rather than PLAY+ then:

• Remove and re-add your venue as Bidford-on-Avon: on your LTA profile, click View Account -> Account Details -> Venues.
• Wait (approx. one hour) until you receive an email from the LTA - confirming that you have successfully upgraded your LTA Advantage Membership to (eg.) Play+.
• Retry Opting In during the opt-in window*: Opt-in via the My Benefits area.

LTA ballot for Volunteers

Club Members who volunteer may be eligible for the LTA ballot for Volunteers.

If you are not already eligible, ask a Committee Member to support you for nomination to be included in the ballot.

If you are eligible for the LTA ballot for Volunteers:

•     Opt into the draw(s) during the opt-in window*: Opt-in via the My Benefits area.

*The Opt-In window for Wimbledon 2026 closes on 31st August 2025, at 23:59.
