About
Birkenhead LTC was established in 1892 and today boasts both impressive facilities, an ever growing community of both junior and senior members and an excellent year-round coaching programme. We are an LTA TennisMark club, something which we're very proud of - a fantastic recognition of our high standards.
Each year we compete in various leagues including the Wirral Summer and Winter Leagues, The Cheshire Shield and the Wirral Tankard. We have six all weather hard courts, 3 of which are floodlit, perfect for enjoyable play all year round! The club also offers extensive coaching, both for Juniors and Seniors, as well as racket restringing and fitness sessions.
Joining our friendly and inclusive club
Birkenhead Tennis Club prides itself on being inclusive and welcoming. We cater for players of all standards, from absolute beginners to super stars.
We have a strong Junior Section
Players with any form of disability are very welcome.
Don't by shy if you are an adult who has never played the game before, we find ways of introducing you to the game.
Players of greater ability will want to play in our competative inter-club teams.
