Bishop’s Castle Tennis Club has a membership package to suit your situation. The packages below are available from 1st April 2025. Membership provides FREE access to the courts and to various Club activities as well as the opportunity to meet others with whom you can play.
To join:
- On the MEMBERSHIP PACKAGES table below, check out your eligibility for the package that would suit you.
- Then, scroll down to your chosen package and click on the ‘Join Now’ button.
- At the start of the application process, you will need to enter your LTA username and password.
If you do not have an LTA Advantage Account, with a username and password you must first register.

If you are not already LTA registered with a username and password. View and download our Guide to Registering with the LTA before starting your application.Thereafter, remember your LTA username and password as you will need it to book courts and access other member's opportunities.

Memberships
1. Child/Youth - Full Season
01/04/2025- 31/03/2026
Enables access to coaching programmes throughout the season; play with other Club members; participation in Club competitions and social events. Those aged 15 to 17, can also access offers and events provided in the Adult section of the Club.
Eligibility: One child or youth aged 17 or under on 1st April 2025.
2. Parent/Guardian of Child Member - Full Season
01/04/2025- 31/03/2026
Enables a parent or guardian to play only with a child member without charge for the hire of the court. Play with other individuals/members and/or access to other member events is not covered.
Eligibility: One parent or guardian of a child member who is aged 14 or under at 1st April 2025.
3. YOUNG Adult - Full Season
01/04/2025- 31/03/2026
Lower price for younger adults. For exceptions see 'Eligibility' below.
Eligibility: One Adult aged between 18 and 29 (inclusive) on 1st April 2025. Exception: those currently eligible for the package 8.1 below.
4. Adult NEW Member - Full Season
01/04/2025- 31/03/2026
Introductory price for the full season for NEW members only. For exceptions see 'Eligibility' below.
Eligibility: One adult aged 30 or over on 1st April 2025 who has never taken out any membership package in a previous season. Exception: those currently eligible for the packages 6, 7.1 or 8.2 below.
5. Adult RETURNER- Full Season
01/04/2025- 31/03/2026
The full deal for returning members to enable play until the end of March 2026. For exceptions see "Eligibility" below.
Eligibility: One adult aged 30 or over on 1st April 2025 who, in any previous season had either a Full Season, Taster, Taster Follow-On, Remaining Season or NEW Member package. Exceptions: those currently eligible for the packages 6, 7.2 or 8.4 below.
6. Adult LOW INCOME - Full Season
01/04/2025- 31/03/2026
To help people on a low income to enjoy tennis. Evidence may be required. For exceptions see 'Eligibility' below.
Eligibility: One adult aged 30 or over on 1st April 2025 and in receipt of income related benefit. Exception: those currently eligible for the LOW INCOME package 8.3 below.
7.1 Adult NEW Member - Full Season - Monthly Pay
01/04/2025- 31/03/2026
Introductory Full Season price for NEW members only, payable monthly instalments. Subject to a £6 surcharge. For exceptions see 'Eligibility' below.
Eligibility: One adult aged 30 or over on 1st April 2025 who has never taken out any membership package in a previous season. Exception: those currently eligible for the package 6, 8.2 or 8.3 below.
7.2 Adult RETURNER - Full Season - Monthly Pay
01/04/2025- 31/03/2026
The full deal for returning members, payable by monthly instalments and enabling play until the end of March 2026. For exceptions see Eligibility below. Subject to a £6 surcharge.
Eligibility: One adult aged 30 or over on 1st April 2025 who, in any previous season had either a Full Season, Taster, Taster Follow-On, Remaining Season or NEW member package. Exceptions: those currently eligible for packages 6 and 8.4.
8.1. YOUNG Adult NEW Member- 3-month Taster
01/04/2025- 30/06/2025
Covers 3 calendar months, the first of which is the month when the application is made, regardless of the date in the month. ONLY 1 Taster membership can ever be taken. AFTERWARDS, a YA Taster Follow- On membership will be required at a cost of £25.
Eligibility: One adult aged between 18 and 29 inclusive on 1st April 2025 who has never taken out any membership package in a previous season.
8.2. NEW Adult Member - 3-month Taster
01/04/2025- 30/06/2025
Covers 3 calendar months, the first of which is the month when the application is made, regardless of the date in the month. ONLY 1 Taster membership can ever be taken. AFTERWARDS, a Taster Follow-On membership will be required at a cost of £52.
Eligibility: One adult aged 30 or over on 1st April 2025 who has never taken out any membership package in a previous season. Exception: those currently eligible for the LOW INCOME 3-month Taster package 8.3.
8.3 NEW Adult LOW INCOME - 3-month Taster
01/04/2025- 30/06/2025
Covers 3 calendar months, the first of which is the month when the application is made, regardless of the date in the month. ONLY 1 Taster membership can ever be taken. AFTERWARDS, a Taster Follow-On membership will be required at a cost of £35.
Eligibility: One adult aged 30 or over on 1st April 2025 who is in receipt of income related benefit and has never taken out any membership package in a previous season.
8.4 Adult RETURNER - 2 month TEMPORARY membership
01/04/2025- 31/05/2025
A short-term membership for those who have been a member in a previous season but in 2025/26 will only be able to participate for a short period.
Eligibility: One adult aged 30 or over on 1st April 2025 who, in any previous season had either a Full Season, Taster, Taster Follow-On, Remaining Season or NEW member package. Repeated use of the TEMPORARY membership during this season is possible, by exception
