At Bishop’s Stortford, we aim to provide a world class performance coaching programme for the children that show great promise.  We like to work in partnership with ex World Tour players that are now highly qualified coaches.  Our coaching methods have been validated by the LTA recently as we have some juniors that have been selected for the County squads.

Entry to the performance squads is by invitation only by our Head Coach and is based on a number of sensible considerations:

- Does the child have the appropriate level of technical skills for their age? 

- Is the level of additional coaching that the child is receiving outside the performance squads sufficient enough?

• Are they playing matches regularly and progressing their LTA ranking?
• Does the child have a balanced set of social and emotional skills in their attitude to tennis?
