The Blaydon Warriors were out in force at indoor venues across the region last weeknd. In Newcastle the Under 8s C team beat Collingwood 11-5 whilst the B team beat Gosforth by the same score line. Particularly well done to Alex and Harry who had to play up and so ended up playing double the number of matches. Meanwhile, in Sunderland the A team won 15-1 against Durham Moor and a particular mention goes to Evan who also played for 2 teams. The U9s came up against really tough opposition today and narrowly fell short, losing a close encounter with Ponteland 14-6. A big thanks to all the dedicated players and parents who played, supported and volunteered to umpire.
