Bloomfield Tennis Club

Social tennis is a regular club feature. New adult players are able to mix in with the regulars and enjoy doubles or singles play in a relaxed and welcoming environment.  All members, young or old, can play on our courts  subject to the scheduled club programme.  

Club Tennis

In the summer season (approximately from April to October) there are regular sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings commencing about 5:30pm and at weekends on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 1:30pm. All members meeting the required standard are welcome, but we do ask members to play with others of similar ability.  In the winter these sessions run on Saturday and Sunday afternoons starting at 1pm.

There is a Ladies open session every Thursday 9:30 to 11:30.

Coaching

Junior and Adult coaching programmes normally run on Saturday mornings and at certain times during school holidays

League Tennis

Bloomfield has 3 teams in the Chippenham and District League, home matches are played Monday & Wednesday evenings during the Summer Season.  For more information click here.

Club Tournaments

A number of club tournaments, which are open to all members, are run over the Summer season, usually outside of normal Club play sessions.

Free Play

At all other times members are free to use the courts.  Courts must be booked in advance through the online bookings system  Members can also bring guests, paying a small guest fee (£5 Adult, £2 Junior)
