Entrances
Bloxham School Swimming Pool: There are two entrances to the pool. Cars can access via the school’s gates/archway. Pedestrians can also access via the gravel carpark adjacent to the traffic lights on the high street, and walk up the flight of stairs of the carpark’s left hand side. All users must access the pool via the changing rooms, however access can be granted via a side-door in special circumstances.
Dewey Sports Centre: Cars and pedestrians access via Barley Close OX15 4NJ (cars must turn off at Strawberry Terrace and follow the bend to join Brickle Lane, before turning off to Barley Close). Users must walk/drive through Jubilee Park. The sports hall, climbing wall, gym, changing rooms and studio can be accessed via the green double doors. The squash courts have their own entrance to the right of the green double doors, and access can be granted by a Dewey Supervisor. The astro-turfs can be accessed directly from the surrounding pathway, and are home to a second entrance to the studio.
Parking
Free parking is available within the school grounds during opening hours to the public.
Bloxham School Swimming Pool: Tarmac carpark accessed via the school’s gates/archway. The gravel carpark below the pool is reserved to residents of the immediate houses only.
Dewey Sports Centre: Gravel carpark located next to the astro-turf. Users must not park in front of the sports centre’s green double doors nor astro-turf gates for safety reasons. The Jubilee Park Carpark (en-route to the Dewey Sports Centre) is reserved for users of the Jubilee Park only. Currently, there are no dedicated disabled bays. Please contact us with special requirements.
Bus Stops

Lifts/Stairs
There are no lifts on site. The pool is on the same level as the main carpark, however pedestrians must climb stairs when walking from the High Street. Currently, the changing rooms are inaccessible via wheelchair. Please contact us with special requirements. The Dewey Sports Centre is accessible on one level, with the exception of the gym which must be accessed via stairs. The studio can be accessed via stairs leading from the sports hall or via the astro-turf entrance which is a few steps higher than the carpark. The tennis courts are accessible via steps. The squash courts are accessible via wheelchair.
Toilets
Standard Toilets There are standard toilets located Bloxham School Swimming Pool and Dewey Sports Centre changing rooms. Toilets are not available for outdoor court and pitch hire.
Disabled/Accessible Toilets
Bloxham School Swimming Pool: Currently, there are no disabled toilets. Please contact us with special requirements.
Dewey Sports Centre: A disabled toilet and shower is located within the squash courts. Hearing Support System Not supported.
Inaccessible Areas
The gym can only be accessed via the stairway. The pool changing rooms cannot be accessed via wheelchair. Please contact us with special requirements. All users with special access requirements must develop a personal emergency evacuation plan (PEEP) with the General Manager – Leisure, before using the facilities. Please contact us to arrange a meeting.
Safeguarding/Restricted Acces
The facilities are only available to the public during public opening hours, dependant on the facility booked.
