How to Book

Here’s our How-To Guide for booking and hiring facilities at Bloxham School, divided into two main sections:

🏫 School-Wide Facilities

Bloxham School offers a variety of academic and event spaces for hire, suitable for educational, community, and private use.

Available Facilities:

  • Great Hall: Ideal for performances, meetings, and receptions. Seats up to 230, with standing capacity for 250. Includes a stage and balcony seating.
  • Classrooms: Seven breakout rooms in the Great Hall building.
  • Vallance Library Rooms: Adams Room: Suitable for meetings and presentations. VLR (Vallance Library Room): Bright, modern space seating up to 60.
  • Auditoriums & Performing Arts Spaces: Available for drama groups, choirs, and rehearsals.
  • Meeting Rooms & IT Suites: For training sessions, adult education, or community group meetings.

  1. Contact: Email leisure@bloxhamschool.com with your enquiry.
  2. Phone: Call 01295 724394 (leave a voicemail if needed).
  3. Tour: Arrange a visit to view the facilities.
  4. Enquiry Form: Use the online enquiry form on the Bloxham School website or use our Lettings Enquiry Form

 

 

🏋️ Leisure Facilities

The Dewey Sports Centre and other outdoor venues offer a wide range of sports and fitness facilities for public hire.

Available Facilities:

  • Indoor Sports Hall: Spring-loaded flooring, cricket nets, basketball hoops.
  • Studio: Full-length windows, flexible layout, ideal for workshops or fitness classes.
  • Climbing Wall: 9 routes, instructor required.
  • Squash Courts: Two glass-backed courts (book via Booker App).
  • Tennis & Netball Courts: Seasonal hardcourts (book via Booker App).
  • Astro-Turf Pitches: Two sand-based pitches for hockey, football, or tennis.
  • Outdoor Cricket Nets: Six ECB-standard nets.
  • Swimming Pool: 25x10 yards, used for public lessons and hire.
  • Fitness Suite: Cardio and strength rooms.
  • Changing Facilities: Including disabled-access toilets and showers.

 

Booking Process:

  1. Direct Booking: Use the Booker App for squash and tennis courts.
  2. Email: For all other bookings, contact leisure@bloxhamschool.com.
  3. Visit: Sports Centre open Monday–Thursday, 6–9pm for tours.
  4. Phone: Call 01295 724394 and leave a voicemail if needed.
  5. Community Use Agreements: Available for clubs and societies.
  6. Event Hosting: Facilities can be hired for tournaments, charity matches, and training camps.
